Short Mystery Fiction Society

The Short Mystery Fiction Society seeks to actively recognize writers and readers who promote and support the creative artform of short mysteries in the press, in other mystery organizations, and through awards.

Membership of the Florida-based society is free and online discussion lists are provided.

A quarterly newsletter is supplied as is as a netletter.

The society’s annual Derringer Awards have proved a very popular way for members to recognize the short mystery fiction that has meant the most to them.
