Scottish Community Drama Association
Scottish
Community Drama Association (SCDA) is a voluntary organisation that works
to promote all aspects of community theatre in Scotland.
An annual festival of one-act plays attracts around 200 entries to local
festivals at 26 venues throughout Scotland.
SCDA has a large collection of play scripts available through its libraries
in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Kirkcaldy. Such scripts
may be read by writers with an eye to the community drama market.
Its site includes the website addresses of a number of drama groups.
