Association of Writers and Writing Programs

Founded in 1967 by fifteen writers representing thirteen creative writing programs, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs grew to include 22,000 individual writers, teachers, and students and 330 college and university creative writing programs in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Its website contains information on its activities and offerings that are open to members and non-members alike.

The Writer's Chronicle is available to members and is published six times a year.

The Writers' Circle has four categories of discussion groups and blogs in which a writer may participate.
