Complete the 10-week course in the company of a published tutor with hands-on experience. Take your time to complete an assignment and then post it for constructive comment.

4. Basics of journalism here

Once registered for the course of your choice you will receive acknowledgement and your student ID.

At a set time, the tutor will send the first module to you and set a short assignment for you to return.

When you have completed the assignment and returned it; your tutor will return it to you with comment and you will receive the next module, with a fresh assignment.

While you may proceed at your own pace; your tutor will suggest a timeline in which to file your work.

A new assignment is set for each student on the current module.

On completion of all ten assignments, a certificate of participation is issued to qualifying students.

Students may choose to further access a year's membership of Writing Club and its forum at a special Academy student rate for continuing development as a writer.

Fees: the fee for this course is currently on special offer @ €99 inclusive of modules, tutorials, assignment comments, materials, and course queries.
