are the essential building blocks of communication.
This website is intended to be a wall of words suggested by visitors to
the site.On the wall are poetic words, silly words, clever words and words
that are weird.
It is
promoted by the charity I CAN whose slogan is: Creating a World Where
Children Have the Communication Skills to Be All They Can Be.
Sadly, one in ten
UK children struggle to communicate - some may not even speak their first
words by the time they start school.
For all that, one word is popular on the site, while another word is not.
A facility to add a word or find a word is provided, and proposers must say why they like the word they suggest.
A constantly changing top ten of most popular words on the site is posted online.
