The
Writers Guild of America represents writers in the motion picture, broadcast,
cable and new technologies industries.
Its site recalls the history of various writer representative groups in
the United States and reviews the current situation. Information is included
on the guild, its services, programs and history.
The WGA is the sole collective bargaining representative for writers in
the motion picture, broadcast, cable, interactive and new media industries.
It has numerous affiliation agreements with other US and international
writing organisations.
A large and useful section of the site includes sites chosen specifically
to help writers research material in preparation. Other links lead to
news source sites.
