VIRTUAL Writer is part of an ongoing programme of innovation by Longford Library and Arts Services, in Ireland.
The site is devoted to creative writing and says it hopes to carry on the tradition of Longford writing from Oliver Goldsmith, Maria Edgeworth,and Padraic Colum, as well as publishing the best work from Ireland and the world.
Online workshops and interactive interviews are planned. A major part of the site will include the publication and encouragement of younger writers in its ezine, Zenith. The site updates on wednesdays.
