Thurber Prize

A biennial award is presented by Thurber House to recognize the art of humour writing.

Thurber House is a non-profit literary centre in Columbus, Ohio, and the former home of American humorist, author, and New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber.

The Thurber Prize for the most outstanding book of humour writing published in the United States will now be given annually. For 2004 award only, books published between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2003 will be eligible.

Details of entry requirements are on the site and please note that the guidelines and conditions for entry have changed since the original inception of the prize, so look at the site and decide for yourself if you want to enter.
