The Story Prize is an annual book award honouring the author of an outstanding collection of short fiction with a $20,000 cash award.
Each
of two runners-up receive $5,000.
Eligible works must be written in English and first published in the United
States during a calendar year.
The website carries detail of the prize, its history and award winners.
Publishers, authors,
or agents may enter eligible works of short fiction for the prize.
An application form may be downloaded from the website.
