Plagiarism Today (PT) is a blog and website that addresses webmasters and copyright holders on the issue of plagiarism online.
The problem
is wider than an enthusiast pasting copy onto their own sites form another
source.
Some dishonest folk are gathering together material from a number of sources,
posting it on one site and then benefiting from ad-related revenue.
The posted goals of the Plagiarism Today website include: Increasing awareness
both among copyright holders and the media on the prevalence of plagiarism
on the web; inform ing copyright holders of their online rights and encouraging
them to protect those rights in a responsible manner; assisting webmasters
who wish to reuse other works in doing so without fear of being dubbed
a plagiarist in turn.
