Patrick Kavanagh (trust)
This
site is dedicated to the work of the Irish poet Patrick Kavanagh, 1904-1967,
and contains information about Kavanagh's work in print.
The website also makes his uncollected poetry available to readers and
students.
It is maintained by the trustees of the estate of the poet's widow Katherine.
Pages are assigned to Kavanagh's life, photograhs, poems, works in print,
the Kavanagh Centre
in his home county of Monaghan and the work of the Trust.
Katherine Kavanagh's widow in her will left all rights in her husband's
works and all royalties from them to Trustees who were directed to apply
the income to help Irish poets who are in need of assistance.
