The Paris Review has since the 1950s published interviews with working writers. The interviews have been gathered in collections over the years and Random House has published the thirteenth collection of interviews from the series. The site is the online edition of the journal and declares that it emphasizes writing as opposed to criticism. Current material from the journal is included and an email newsletter is offered to keep you informed of upcoming Paris Review literary events and changing features on the website. Submission details are included for aspiring contributors and prizes are awarded annually by the editors of The Paris Review for material published during the year. They include The Aga Khan Prize for Fiction ($1,000).The Bernard F. Conners Prize for Poetry ($1,000) and The Paris Review Discovery Prize awarded to the best work of fiction or poetry published in The Paris Review by an emerging or previously unpublished writer. © askaboutwriting.net
