Theatre Publications
The
Playwrights’ Co-operative is a not-for-profit organisation that
aims to give individual playwrights the opportunity to take greater control
and responsibility in the marketing of their work with all the benefits
that full publication brings.
The site invites playwrights to contact the co-operative with details
of any writing or production opportunities for playwrights
Listed is a full catalogue of theatre play scripts available for production
and details of the playwrights and authors. Performing licences can be
arranged by email or by post.
New Theatre Publications is the trading name of the publishing house that
is owned by members of the Co-operative which was was launched by writers
Paul Beard and Ian Hornby in October 1997.
Membership of the co-operative is by annual subscription of £15.
The site carries a listing of where new plays are currently required and
there a links section is provided.
