Chronicles of Narnia

C.S. Lewis created a land of wonder and enchantment called Narnia, and some 60 million readers subsequently discovered the wondrous world that exists beyond the back of the wardrobe.

The website is for fans and carries details of all seven books in the series. A sample chapter is included from each book and a listening facility is offered as well on the website.

Lewis began the work in 1969 when he was aged 41years and finished it in 1956 aged 58 years, according to a timeline posted on the site.

Some Lewis biographical details are included for readers.

The publishers HarperCollins said it will send an emailed newsletter for readers to explore the Chronicles of Narnia and other worlds.
