The Independent Publishers Guild

The (IPG) is the UK membership organisation for independent publishing companies and currently has some 400 members. The IPG exists to provide members with a forum and to promote knowledge about publishing

The site reflects the work of the IPG in following these aims, and an online application form is available. An email group news and alert service is provided to members.

The estimated combined turnover of IPG publishers is in excess of £266 million
As a group it is a considerable presence within the British publishing industry.

Categories of membership include publishers who have published three or more publications; publishers with fewer than three titles published and non-publishers whose business is closely associated with publishing.
