Frank O'Connor

This website is devoted to the Irish writer Frank O' Connor who died in 1966. O'Connor is the author of more than 150 works; but is best known for his short stories and memoirs.

Commissioned at the request of O'Connor's wife, Harriet O' Donovan, the website is designed to celebrate Frank's life and work.

It includes contributions from academics as well as photographs, manuscripts, audio/visual material and notices of O'Connor-related events.

There is a links section with the surprising declaration:"Websites other than those shown here (on the O'Connor site) may present inaccurate biographical sketches and unauthorized texts, and should be approached with caution."

A dateline section lists his life and publications as events occurred.
