Famous Trials

The famous trials website is becoming famous in its own right as a source of information on prominent trials.

Based in Kansas, the website looks at some of the most famous court cases in American history, from the Salem witchcraft trials to O.J.Simpson's murder trial. It includes overviews of the trials, court documents, and relevant materials.

Other trials are included as in the Mutiny on the Bounty trial, the Chamberlain Dingo trial and the trial of Socrates, and Jesus Christ and Galileo and Oscar Wilde.

The project is maintained as an educational and non-commercial site at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School by Doug Linder, Professor of Law.

Professor Linder has published numerous articles in the fields of constitutional law, famous trials, environmental law, and communications law.
