Fabian Society

The Fabian Society provides an arena for open-minded debate in the UK. Its programme aims to explore political ideas and policy reforms.

The comprehensive site lists its origins and activities.

Current activities fall into two principal categories of producing a range of publications: pamphlets, policy reports, books and a quarterly journal, and of organising events, including conferences, seminars, residential schools, lectures and receptions.

Affiliated to the British Labour Party, the Society declares itself to be editorially and organisationally independent of the party.
