Webmaster Mick Halpin declares this website not to be an ad campaign but the site of a book fan.

Reviews of Irish and crime fiction are posted that non-intellectuals will understand, according to the webmaster. It's an experiment --- reviews as entertaining as the books themselves, he said.

Started in mid-2005, the site at times reads like a weblog, and past reviews are archived for access.

Some links are provided, notably to writing podcats.
