Browning Society

The Browning Society was formed in 1969 to provide a focus for contemporary interest in Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

Its website carries information on related conferences, and membership application; membership of the society includes a copy of the current issue of Browning Society Notes, according to the website.

Upcoming events are noted and there is an essay on the husband and wife team
of poets.

To encourage interest among young people in the work of these two poets and the writing of poetry, The Browning Society has established an annual poetry competition.
