This website offers a guide to films by category and by other subject headings including cross references to all manner of interesting side issues.

There are links to the filmakers' biographies and filographies and much more besides to occupy the mind of a writer intent on targetting the movie world as a writer.

Guides are offerred to films by country though it seems that no film ever was made in Ireland since the country is ommitted from the search categories, despite winning several oscars.

A selection of essays is offered on cinema and the studios and a search may be made by decades.
