Founded in 2003, the site aims to provide a forum for discussion, accurate news about the industry and a means for individuals to link up and promote themselves, according to an online declaration.

Included for free are: a media news section; a diary of industry events, news events, press conferences and product launches; a forum to post queries, to discuss the media treatment of a story, to review the latest movie, or to sell something journalistic; and a media releases reading site.
