Association of Authors' Agents

The Association of Authors' Agents is a voluntary body with a membership drawn from the UK and Ireland.

The site provides a directory of members with onward links for individual contact details.

Included here is the association’s code of practice for its members in dealing with clients. The code is a useful barometer against which to measure non-member agents’ proposals for representing writers.

AAA members have each practiced as literary agents for a period of three years or more, have a list of clients who are actively engaged in writing, and abide by a code of practice as detailed on the website.
