Rough
Magic develops new Irish plays, imports major international work, and
tours both nationally and internationally.
Its site includes guidelines for submitting a script for consideration,
but notes that due to limited resources it cannot read and respond to
writers living outside of Ireland,
SEEDS II is the company’s writing programme which fosters new playwriting
talent, and offers emerging directors opportunity to participate in a
parallel programme. An experienced theatre director mentors each artist
throughout the eighteen-month programme.
The site includes comment on current work by the company.
