Private Eye Writers of America
The
Private Eye Writers of America (PWA) is devoted to private-eye detective
fiction, and the organisation administers the annual Shamus Awards.
The site is essentially a home page for the association with no links
offered from it.
PWA membership is open to fans, writers, and publishing professionals
with three levels of membership on offer: active, associate, and international.
A quarterly newsletter Reflections in a Private Eye is posted
to members:
The PWA defines a "private eye" as any mystery protagonist who
is a professional investigator, but not a police officer or government
agent.
