National Association of Science Writers

The National Association of Science Writers was formed in 1934 by a group of science reporters in New York. NASW was formerly incorporated in 1955 to foster the dissemination of accurate information regarding science through all media.

The website contains detail of the association and its present role, which includes its campaign for the free flow of science news.

It offers amongst other things, a jobs announcement service for science writers and links to member’s homepages.

There are links to sites of mutual interest and a section on tools and tips for the savvy freelance science writer.
