Limerick City library

The Reference Library is located in the Central Library at the Granary in Limerick.

For writers researching historical detail, in addition to the historical reference materials, local Limerick newspapers, some dating from 1781 to the present, are available for inspection on microfiche, though not yet online.

Included are copies of The Limerick Chronicle, General Advertiser or Limerick Gazette, The Limerick Reporter & Tipperary Vindicator, Munster News, Limerick Leader, Clare Journal & Ennis Advertiser Munster Journal Limerick Evening Post Tipperary Man & Limerick Recorder, and other Munster newspapers.

The site has links to news of cultural events planned for Limerick city including literature and writing events that are open to all to attend.
