The James Joyce Centre on North Great George’s Street in Dublin celebrates and commemorates James Joyce and his work.
The
action of Joyce’s novel Ulysses takes place on a single
day in Edwardian Dublin.
Joyceans worldwide celebrate the day each year in many different ways,
from readings, to cycle or walking tours to breakfasts following the
menus in the book.
Each year, the site lists the many events scheduled wherever Joyceans gather for the June 16 celebrations in honour of Bloomsday .
That apart, the site and centre focus on Joyce and his times and offers further information to the Joyce enthusiast on the writer's work.
