Irish Playwrights and Screenwriters Guild
The
Irish Playwrights and Screenwriters Guild is an organisation of writers
dedicated to improving their conditions of work.
Its site includes a guide to applying to the Irish Film Board for funding.
A rough draft standard option agreement is also posted on the site.
The Guild intends to represent scriptwriters on radio, stage or screen
though not as agents, it said.
A useful section of the site is on sources of funds for writers for
the screen in Ireland which includes a consideration of rates.
