International IMPAC Literary Award

The International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award at €100,000 is the largest and most international prize of its kind and is awarded to a single title.

Libraries from all corners of the world are nominating bodies, and the award is open to books written in any language. The Award is administered by Dublin City Public Libraries.

Details of the full list of nominated eligible titles are announced in early November, along with the nominating libraries and the members of the judging panel for the annual competition.

The site contains detail of previously nominated titles, which now combine to create the Impac Collection.

Colm Tóibín (left) was the first Irish writer to win the award when he did so in 2006 with The Master.
