ILE funds translation of literature from Ireland into foreign languages, and translation of foreign literature into English or Irish.
It promotes Irish literature abroad, provides information for publishers, agents, translators, writers and other interested parties.
Residential translation bursaries are provided and up to 100 per cent of the translator's fees.
