The Horror Writers Association (HWA)

HWA is a worldwide organisation of writing and publishing professionals dedicated to promoting dark literature.

Formed in the late 1980s, it has some 1,000 members around the globe.

The site includes articles on writing horror, courtesy of published, bestselling, HWA Members. The informative articles are posted free for all to read.

The UK site has links to members who are happy to correspond by email with like minded folk, according to an online declaration.

Links are provided to the sites of masters in the craft of horror writing who are widely regarded as masters of horror and who have made an outstanding contribution to the genre.
