Historical Novel Society

The Historical Novel Society was founded in 1997 and promotes all aspects of historical fiction.

The site provides support and information for members and through it the society aims to create a community for authors, readers, agents and publishers.

Claiming 900 members, the society publishes a quarterly magazine to review new work of historical fiction released in the USA and the UK.

It delivers six newsletters through the year for an annual subscription fee.

The website lists members' own news and their websites and offers category lists of sites relevant to historical novelists
