The Crime Library

The Crime Library is a US-based collection of more than over 500 non-fiction stories on major crimes, criminals, trials, forensics and criminal profiling. It includes award-winning fiction short stories by prominent writers amongst its resources.

Focussed mainly on recent crimes, the expanding collection features historic criminals from as far back as 15th century.

The site was founded by Marilyn J. Bardsley in January 1998. Court TV, a joint venture of AOL-Time Warner and Liberty Media Inc, purchased the Crime Library in September 2000 and copytight is claimed on all material hosted.

Stories may be accessed by keyword and content is further organised in categories and subcategories.
