Contentious

CONTENTIOUS began life as an web-based online newsletter in 1998 and then became a much read emailed newsletter concerning itself with writing for the Web, and in particular calling for the fluff to be dumped from online writing.

A website supported the newsletter and vice versa.

CONTENTIOUS is updated regularly with fresh content and covers a broader range of topics. The tagline is, "News and musings about how we communicate in the online age."

You may comment on postings, and other CONTENTIOUS readers can read your thoughts if you do.

Announcements of new postings are available by e-mail and RSS feed.

By July 2007 Contentious had morphed into a blog.
