The Canadian Children's Illustrated Books Project

The Canadian Children's Illustrated Books Project is a three-year project supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

The project is a comprehensive examination of the historical context and current state of Canadian children’s illustrated books in English.

It explores the historical development of illustrated books for children in Canada.

It assesses the literary and visual contributions of Canadian authors and illustrators, and documents the current state of children’s illustrated book publishing in Canada.

But it’s good stuff for all that.
