Canadian Authors' Association

The site of the national writers' organisation of Canada.

As well as information and guidance for members it carries material of general interest to writers everywhere, including material on resources, contracts, markets, and publishing contracts.

Founded in 1921, the CAA has played a key role in support of the Canadian writing community. It has charitable status as a registered National Arts Service Organization.

For more information about the CAA follow the links on the sidebar menu to the areas that interest you. A volunteer-run organisation with limited resources, the site includes several sub-sites on national and branch activity.

There are sub sections on literary awards, and writing links. There is a useful section with links to online versions of Canadian-published newspapers and magazines.
