Bookstart

Bookstart is a British scheme offering free books nationally to every child and advice to every parent.

It is the first national books for babies programme in the world and is based on the belief that it's never too soon to share books with babies.

Parents and carers are encouraged to share books with children from a very early age

To help find relevant information, there are two levels of information on the site: information for professionals and for schemes; and information for parents and carers.
