Branching Out

Branching Out is an online directory of reader development contacts in all 208 UK library authorities.

The directory includes email addresses, telephone and fax details for reader development in each authority. It features sections on propagating and supporting readers’ groups.

A selection of UK independent presses is included for reference, which offers a company profile, imprints, targeted readers and websites.

Branching Out is a partnership initiative from the Society of Chief Librarians and Opening the Book. Branching Out is supported by the Arts Council of England. The Natioanl Library for the Blind is a partner in the Branching Out project.
