The Arts Council of Northern Ireland

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is the prime distributor of public support for the arts in Northern Ireland. Its site lists resources available through the Council for writers and other workers in Arts.

The Council has adopted a five year arts plan and gives as a priority the extension of opportunities for artists to develop their work and practice.

Major commissioning opportunities across all art forms are available under the New Work Scheme in areas including public art, musical composition, and script writing, said the Council.
