Alliance of Literary Societies
Formed in 1973, the Alliance of Literary Societies has
a membership of more than 100 societies and provides support and advice
on a variety of subjects.
It promotes co-operation between member societies in the preparation of
their programmes.
The site has links to the constituent societies and detail of the benefit
of membership.
The societies in turn have links of interest to their subject matter.
While mostly concerned with British societies, a number of Irish societies
are also listed.
