R. Well you could write and sing your own songs.

But you seem to want to plump for one thing or another.

May we say a career as a singer could be short-lived given your tone-deaf condition.

Also, you are a terrible writer; so it's a toss-up really, which you are worst at.

However, your life as a failed writer could go on as long as you wish.

Whereas, to be a singer you need some bookings and we fear your reputation could go before you. You could starve.

Perhaps, you should get a job as a traffic warden and write parking tickets while humming a tune to yourself, softly?
