From The Well - Short Story Competition 2012

Cork County Library and Arts Service is accepting entries to its 2012 From The Well Short Story competition.

The winning prize will be a place on a week-long writing workshop at the West Cork Literary festival 2012, in Bantry, Co Cork.

The competition is open to people aged 18 years or more who are registered library members.

Stories must be fictional; but may be on any subject; but must not be more than 2,000 words. No handwritten entries will be accepted.

Entrants may submit one short story.

Copyright of each story will remain with the author but Cork County Library and Art Service reserves the right to one publication and/or one broadcast of shortlisted stories

Closing date for receipt of applications is February 17, 2012.
