The
2012 Pint-sized Plays writing competition is open for entries.
Now in its fifth year, Pint-sized Plays is an international competition
for short plays.
The winner receives a Pint-Pot award - with a Half-Pint award given to
the runner up.
Selected plays will be considered for possible performance in the Brighton
and Edinburgh Fringe festivals and be recorded and broadcast as radio
plays on an internet radio station:
Entry fee is £5.50 per play.
Such plays last for five or ten minutes each.
Pint-sized Plays is an opportunity to show just how imaginative and original
you can be, said the promoters.
The play can be funny, it can be poignant, so long as it can be performed
in a pub, with two or three characters.
Winning plays will be performed in pubs throughout Pembrokeshire, on September
24th and 25th, during Tenby Festival week.
All ten plays will be performed at a Script Slam in Fishguard on October
6, where the audience get to vote for their favourite script.
