A website for writers is conducting a competition for flash fiction pieces of no more than six hundred words each.

The competition is open-themed, said the promoters.

Prizes are £300, £100, or £50.

Entry fee is £5 for one story.

The competition is open to writers of all ages and nationalities but entries must be in English

Winning entries will be published on the www.multi-story.co.uk site.

The site will also host competitions for stories of different lengths on a bi-monthly basis, said the promoters.

Closing date for entries to the flash fiction competition is February 29, 2012.
