Writer of the City of Graz scholarship offered

Applications are being accepted for the Writer of the City of Graz scholarship in Austria.

The Literature Scholarship is awarded each year by the City of Graz.

It includes provision of an apartment for free in the Cerrini-Schlössl on the Schlossberg, from September 1st of the year of awarding until August 31st of the following year, and a monthly allowance of €1,100.

The Kulturvermittlung Steiermark will supervise the guest in consultation with the City of Graz – Department for Cultural Affairs.

All relevant information on this Scholarship is to be found online.

However, the organizers draw your attention to the requirement of basic German language ability in order to facilitate dialogue between writer and the local community.

Closing date for applications is March 31, 2012.
