Michael
Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlets
Submissions
are being accepted for the Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlets,
run by the Poetry Book Society and the British Library.
Two awards are available worth £5,000 each.
The Michael Marks Poetry Award recognises an outstanding work of poetry
published in pamphlet form.
The Michael Marks Publishers’ Award recognises an outstanding publisher
of poetry in pamphlet form.
Only pamphlets published in the United Kingdom between January 1, 2009
and December 31, 2009 are eligible.
Posthumous work is eligible only if published within six months of the
poet’s death and during the year 2009.
Closing date for submissions is March 12,
2010.
