Four ArtLinks bursaries per county
ARTLINKS
has announced a change to its grants system to introduce a new suite of
bursary awards totaling €30,000 for 2010.
An arts development service for artists of all disciplines ArtLinks is
based on partnership between the local authorities in the counties of
Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wicklow.
While the amount of funds available for bursaries has not changed significantly,
the awards have been divided. Instead of one main bursary there will be
four bursaries, so that more people in the arts can be supported, according
to the organisers.
Four awards will be awarded per county, the categories of literature,
dance, music, drama, film and visual arts aged 18 years or more, who are
resident within the ArtLinks five county partnership region.
Closing date for applications is April 1,
2010.
