New Irish literary agency opens books
A
new literary agency has opened for business in Dublin.
Prizeman and Kinsella the Literary Agents will focus on non-fiction and
fiction, said the agency in a statement.
Patricia Prizeman, who has worked in the book industry for more than 15
years and Yvonne Kinsella, a TV producer, journalist and author, have
combined their skills to offer a new package to the market.
Prizeman has been a member of the Irish Bookseller's Association, World
Book Day co-ordinator for Ireland and a member of the European Federation
Bookseller Association.
She will focus on the publishing side of the business.
Kinsella is a published author, journalist, and TV producer.
She will promote each author book to the media and focussing on turning
clients’ best work into plays, drama or film.
Writers have already been signed up by the agency; but the partners said
it could take up to eight weeks to respond to new applications for representation.
