money spent on better sex guide
An
illustrated 47-page booklet produced by Manchester council on improving
the love life of the over-50s has been criticised as a waste of public
money.
Some Mancunians said the council should concentrate on improving schools
and public amenities.
The £8,000 booklet offered tips to spice up a marriage or love after
divorce.
The sex guide contains tips on how to use a condom, discover your erotic
side and combat impotency problems, according to reports.
Information gathered from focus groups for the over-50s was used to write
the book which includes real-life experiences and information provided
by pensioners celebrating their sex lives.
One man was said to have welcomed the information provided so as to prevent
his attendance as the oldest person in the sexual health clinic, at any
given time.
